SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION | Day 2

Dear Friends of Solstice!

Join us for the Elephant Equinox Theme Party & Playshops presented by Solstice Celebration, hosted by Legacy ArtSanta Barbara, 1230 State Street, Saturday & Sunday, September 21-22!  

Now for the fun part — this is a CALL to all CREATORS!  

Artists, illustrators, graphic designers, tattoo artists, makers, and creators — whether you’re a fine artist or just love to doodle, everyone is welcome to submit. There are two categories in the contest: Under 18 and 18 & Over. Winners from each category will receive a special prize!

PLUS THIS IS YOUR FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO TALK ABOUT AND VOTE FOR THE SOLSTICE PARADE THEME 2025. There will be online voting after this event until October 11th. There will be a ballot box.

Here’s the schedule:

• Artists Under 18:  

  2 - 4 PM , Saturday and Sunday September 21-22

  We’ll provide Elephant Parade® coloring pages, colored pencils, fine-tip markers, and loads of fun facts about elephants and conservation. Light snacks will be available to fuel your creativity!  You can attend both days.  Donation based.   RSVP online.  If you cannot be present, you can enter online until October 11, 2024.

• Artists 18 & Over:  

  4 - 6 PM,  Saturday and Sunday September 21-22   

  In addition to the art contest, enjoy live music by Crispin Barrymore, a no-host bar, and delicious appetizers to keep the good vibes flowing. 

$15 or sliding scale.
