Our singers and instrumentalists were impressed with the environment and wonderful vibe of Legacy Art.  It was exactly what we were looking for; a place dedicated to art and listening and not having the music be ancillary.  Everyone felt it and I actually heard a higher level of performance from my students than I had heard in the past.

Harvest Moon Celebration

A Unique Performance in Partnership with Green Room 180

Working with Legacy Art Santa Barbara was such a pleasure, especially since they knew exactly what they wanted for their event. After just a single consultation, we managed to get on the same page and they were extremely collaborative and flexible when planning, running, and ensuring the perfect experience for our patrons.

Peter M. Rojcewicz, PhD

Featured Presenter, during ARTS District’s first official event, “Fall for the Arts” on “Art Matters: Evolution, the Creative Economy, Education, and Health”

The warm and inviting setting featured several exquisite art scrolls of the Susanne Barrymore and selected ceramics of her late husband Carroll Barrymore that emanated an affecting presence of sentient entities. The evening’s hosts Laela Duncan and Crispin Barrymore created a warm, ambient environment with their gracious welcome to each guest and audience member as they entered. Mr. Barrymore played on the keyboard with strength of virtuosity while the audience filed in. Ms. Duncan masterfully accompanied him with vocals. This was not simply background music so much as a spiritual container of aesthetic integrity that helped stimulate deep listening and dialog during my presentation. The audience consisted of people from the arts, as was expected, but psychologists and art therapists were also in attendance.
